She has completed training directly with Mariano Rocabado.  She is certified in Nasal Release Therapy (NRT). She is always advancing her training in airway and breathing, and hypermobility support.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

Jaime capitalizes on the body’s own healing processes for maximum efficiency and lasting outcomes. She is committed to listening, setting goals collaboratively, and offering an individualized treatment approach. She will guide you to freedom of movement, optimized functional capacity, and better quality of life.

EXPERTISE

TMD: Jaime’s focus is on evaluating and treating temporomandibular dysfunction and other head/neck/jaw conditions, including airway and posture. She has been treating this population since 2016 and almost exclusively since 2020.

She understands the complexity of the region and helps to make sense of the myriad symptoms that can be associated. Not an exhaustive list, but in addition to the head/neck/jaw pain, there could be joint sounds, ear-related symptoms including ear pain, fullness, ringing, hearing loss, and pressure regulation problems, headaches, dizziness, difficulty swallowing, bruxism, "bite-off" sensations or poor alignment and control, tongue and cheek biting, and so on. She collaborates with other professionals in the care team (dental specialties, surgeons, ENTs, sleep medicine, headache clinic, massage therapists, and other complementary care providers) to provide efficient and unified care. She will work to address the

primary issue within a whole-body framework, addressing issues local to the jaw, including tongue and breathing, the spine, as well as optimizing pelvis/upper cervical functional alignment and control per each individual as needed.

HYPERMOBILITY: Jaime has developed her expertise and knowledge base to specifically address the

needs of those who have hypermobility conditions.

TREATMENT

Jaime typically provides hands on manual therapy, recommendations for activity modification, supports and strategies for sleep position, desk set up, workout modifications, self care advice for pain management and exercise to provide better balance across the body and unload affected painful areas. Jaime is a skilled manual therapist and movement observer. She focuses on identifying key weaknesses and providing individualized strengthening exercises to get individuals back to having more freedom of movement. The main goal is to empower the individual in their own recovery.
