Jaime Reich, PT, DPT, OCS, CFC

Jaime Reich earned her DPT from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. She became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), in 2016.

In 2018, she became a certified craniofacial specialist (CFC). Prior to joining PRO Physical Therapy in July 2018, Jaime worked as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for 7 years. She graduated from UW Platteville in 1999 with a BS in Biology, Psychology, and Biotechnology, and worked at the UW Madison Department of Zoology for 9 years before going to PT school.

Jaime capitalizes on the body’s own healing processes for maximum efficiency and lasting outcomes. She is committed to listening, setting goals collaboratively, and offering an individualized treatment approach. She will guide you to freedom of movement, optimized functional capacity, and better quality of life.

Jaime’s niche is in evaluating and treating craniofacial pain. This includes temporomandibular pain and headaches, as well as vertigo/dizziness and concussion. Treatment may involve hands on manual therapy, neuromuscular control, activity modification, and modalities. These can be done with techniques such as laser, vibration, electrical stimulation, dry needling, and nasal release technique (NRT). In 2018, Jaime received her Cranio-Facial Certification (CFC). She guest lectures in the UW-Madison DPT program for their TMD unit. Jaime is a skilled manual therapist and movement observer. By combining these skills, she can identify compensations in the movement and restrictions in the tissue, address them, and get individuals back to having more freedom of movement. She believes in the power of hands on therapy and therefore has been developing her manual therapy skills. She has been practicing since 2000, when she became a licensed massage therapist. Jaime became dry needling certified in 2017. From a movement observation perspective, she is certified in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), is fluent in running analysis, and is a certified kettlebell coach (HKC). She is currently engaged in becoming a breath coach with Breathe Your Truth.

Jaime is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Orthopedic Section and the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association (WPTA). She is also a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She belongs to the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP).

Jaime is a lifelong athlete who loves running, weightlifting, and body weight movement. She is currently obsessed with Raw Functional Training and kettlebells while preparing for an ultramarathon in 2022. She grew up as a track and cross country runner, having competed in State, and been captain of her HS and collegiate teams. Before the pandemic, she enjoyed teaching fitness classes at Harbor Athletic Club. In her free time, you’ll find her outdoors with her family: hiking, kayaking, fires in the yard; and cheering on her girls in their youth sports events.
